Cheaper NH35 builds are reliable but beat at 21,600 vibrations per hour, which shows as a slower sweep of the seconds hand. Any seller who refuses to name the movement is hiding something.

Water resistance and care

Treat a replica as water-resistant to splashes only, no matter what the caseback says. Gaskets on copies are rarely tested, so remove the watch before swimming or showering.
